The AeroMon NG series laser particle counters enable the detection and classification of particles in aerosols from 0.3µm and are optionally available with or without integrated rechargeable battery. The intelligent control of the particle counter monitors the flow, and regulates the laser power to ensure optimum measurement accuracy and long-term stability. In case of possible contamination of the optical components, as well as in case of deviation of the flow rate or decrease of the laser power, a fault message is output. The particle size classes of the AeroMon series are freely configurable and up to eight particle size classes can be detected simultaneously. The standard configuration (0.5µm and 5µm), for the most common applications in the pharmaceutical industry, is pre-programmed as the default setting.
The entire configuration of the particle counter (particle size classes, measuring and rinsing time, etc.) can be done via the 10.1" touch display or a high-speed field bus (NIO bus) in connection with the Telemon Monitoring System, or via an RS485 interface according to the MR protocol. Likewise, the measurement can be restarted and stopped at any time, and a continuous particle size spectrum can be generated. The individual measurements can be assigned to different locations and stored. The measurement results can be visualized in the form of diagrams and reports and exported or printed via .csv, .pdf as well as .xlsx.
