Packaging material sharing "Our contribution"
Over the past few months, we have become increasingly concerned with the issue of environmental protection. We are of the opinion that it is not enough to just talk the talk, but also to walk the walk. And, no matter how big the company is, everyone can do their bit.
We are aware that many people attach great importance to elaborate packaging. Printed, preferably coated, with branded filling material and, in the "worst case", the whole thing made of plastic. We made a conscious decision against this and worked on finding an alternative. Our solution is called "second-hand packaging". We cooperate with local companies and reuse packaging that has already been used. The most important thing for us is that the cardboard boxes are clean and suitable for transportation. And we try to do without plastic as far as possible. We don't manage to do without it 100%, but we think it's at least a start.
Of course, your products are packed just as well and safely for transportation as with new packaging material, but no new resources had to be wasted on second-hand packaging.

WKO Company Challenge Austria
At Niotornic, we focus on movement - not only in technology, but also for our planet!
That's why we took part in the WKO Company Challenge Austria, in which each team was asked to collect as many minutes of exercise as possible. For every 1000 minutes, a tree is planted - a direct contribution to a greener future.
In the feedback form for the challenge, we were asked the question:
‘What were your motives for your company's participation in the company challenge?’
Our answer:
‘The sustainable aspect (reduction of the CO2 footprint, tree planting, ...)’
We want to actively contribute to reducing our CO2 footprint and at the same time make the world a better place to live by planting trees. Every step counts - for us and for the environment!
